A technophile and a Flutter developer, Vishwas considers experimenting the key to the technology. As a student, he was a part of different communities. He has also been a speaker for Community Meetups and the Event Computer Architecture Club, Google Crowdsource, the Pie & AI Bangalore chapter, IEEE, and more.
Why did you become a DeepLearning.AI Event Ambassador?
VN: I’d been attending DeepLearning.AI events to network with my peers, learn best practices from industry professionals, receive guidance and hands-on experience from mentors, and profit from thought-provoking conversations. I decided to become an Event Ambassador as I knew it would be an excellent opportunity to explore different things and meet new people in the DeepLearning.AI community.
Tell us about your experience as an Event Ambassador for the DeepLearning.AI community.
VN: I’ve always organized events that have been open to students from different fields and levels and focused on technologies that other community members and I were interested in learning about. For me, a highlight of my event ambassador journey has been expanding my expertise in a peer-to-peer learning environment while also developing solutions for local communities and companies.
What have you learned and gained from this experience?
VN: T Being in the community has helped me gain the experience to be a future-ready engineer.

Ping Wang

Ping Wang is the Executive Director at Nova77, an educational nonprofit organization in southern Nevada.
Why did you become a DeepLearning.AI Event Ambassador?
PW: As an educator, I’m always looking for new ways to keep my students focused and motivated. The DeepLearning.AI community has been an incredible platform for creating connections and bringing in new AI findings. I found many like-minded people willing to speak with me, my students, and my community.
Tell us about your experience as an Event Ambassador for the DeepLearning.AI community
PW: As an Ambassador, I invited AI researchers to talk to bridge the two fields. We’ve spoken about IODP rocks and rock classifications, HiRISE images of Martian landscapes and GANs & DETR & MOT, SAR satellite images, and AI algorithms that might remove noises. The best way out is through. We’re still building and evolving and growing. We’re still preparing for good times to come.
What have you learned and gained from this experience?
PW: I have gained valuable knowledge on several AI-related topics, which we have discussed during the event sessions I have participated in.
